Welcome to the Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish!!! Our club is a microcosm of our community. We are civic, industrial, and business leaders. We are retirees, professionals, small business owners, large industry managers, and non-profit directors, all coming together for a single goal...Service Above Self.
This year’s Rotary International theme is “Making a Difference.” Rotary International President Ian H.S. Riseley recently said, "Whether we’re building a new playground or a new school, improving medical care or sanitation, training conflict mediators or midwives, we know that the work we do will change people’s lives — in ways large and small — for the better.”
For us here in St. Charles Parish, whether we're raising money for college scholarships at our annual Alligator Festival, whether we're providing meals to students in Honduras with our Lunches for Learning program, whether we're riding bikes to raise money for families with food insecurities with our Pedals for Pantries program, or whether it's the Thanksgiving baskets, Interact clubs, literacy projects, SCANEX youth exchange or student mentoring, we will continue to focus on truly “Making a Difference.”
If you are interested in becoming a member, let us know! We meet each Wednesday (noon to 1pm) at the River Room (13899 River Road, Luling LA 70070).
We hope to see everyone at our Alligator Festival, which is always the last full weekend in September at the Westbank Bridge Park (13825 River Road, Luling LA 70070)!!!
Eric Dishongh, President
